Wilhelmina FitzClarence, Countess of Munster was a British peeress and novelist. Her mother, Lady Augusta FitzClarence, was an illegitimate daughter of William IV of the United Kingdom; Wilhelmina, also known as Mina, was born the day after William's succession as monarch.
FitzClarence was a gifted songwriter, both music and words. Relatively late in life, she turned to fiction with two novels and a collection of ghost stories. She and her husband led a retired life in Brighton for most of their marriage.
