Mostly for local transactions where you pay when you pick up the thing, so in those cases it is usually easy to verify you are not getting scammed. As with any online transaction, you need to be aware of the possibility of getting scammed.
19 de nov. de 2023 · I've been trying to register an account to even be able to message the seller. Kleinanzeigen lets me register an email, username, and password, and does the ReCaptcha check that "ich bin kein Roboter", but the confirmation email I'm supposed to click on never arrives. I've tried two different .mac addresses and so far, no dice. I feel your pain.
8 de feb. de 2023 · Kleinanzeigen is a local platform that is not related to regular eBay. The seller most likely will not ship to the UK anyway, many many scams start that way. Lots of scams going around - esp from people not living in Germany…. So it’s rather unlikely for someone to sell outside the country.
7 de sept. de 2021 · I wouldn't do it for anything worth more than 10€ or so. EBay Kleinanzeigen is like Craigslist, i.e. it’s individual people selling stuff there. That means there’s scams as well as legitimate offers. We obviously can’t tell you whether the deal you found is a scam, but if it‘s too good to be true – it often is not.

And as the ads are completely free of charge on eK, you are always dealing with lots of different people, and scammers are among them. If you are looking for an item that you cannot pick up in person, try eBay.de first. And go with your instinct.
22 de dic. de 2023 · Using kleinanzeigen.de from another EU country. I live in another EU country, and a couple of days ago I created my first account with Kleinanzeigen. Now my IP address is all of a sudden blocked due to "suspicious activity" — of course, I did not do anything to warrant that. I did some googling, and it seems that Kleinanzeigen cannot be used ...
13 de sept. de 2023 · Account on ebay-kleinanzeigen blocked. My account on ebay-kleinanzeigen was blocked immediately after registering. I can even understand why this technically happened - connected to a VPN during the registration process. I wrote to tech support asking them to fix it. But after a month of waiting I got a reply from them that the decision is final.
28 de dic. de 2021 · Oh, and fuck Bayern Munich. Ebay Kleinanzeigen is intended to be for face-to-face pick up and cash-only deals. Most sellers aren't willing to send within Germany, yet alone overseas. It is just not what that platform is supposed to be for.
30 de mar. de 2024 · I’ve been using Kleinanzeigen for buying and selling actively for a while and have built up a bunch of good reviews. However, it is my first time selling something through the direkt Kauf Funktion and was wondering if it offers seller protection? It says I will only be paid out when the buyer receives the package and confirms it.
There are also countless cases, where buyer protection was used to scam the seller. Simply by lying about the contents of the package. When i sell stuff on Ebay Kleinanzeigen, I never accept PayPal (not even F&F) or their integrated payment method. It's either pick up in person (and cash payment), or bank transfer.
