11 de jul. de 2018 · More model information. I have always loved King Kong. For this piece went back to the original for inspiration. I leaned the sculpt more towards the movie model rather than an actual gorilla. He was chubby, rubber/bendy armed, and very chunky!

4 de ene. de 2020 · Animator Phil Kellison rescued the Kong model from the studio. After discovering that the remaining rubber skin was beginning to eat away at the figure’s metal hardware, he had Kong steam-cleaned to its present state – the original bare metal skeleton.
