I looked through a few forums and they say that we can fix this by downloading the hi-res patch update, but it didn't work for me.

    This has been happening every time I play for over 5 minutes, specifically during combat. Downloaded the game on Steam on Windows 10. Installed Fixt mod in hopes it would fix the issue, but it didn't. Version is 1.1, modded from 1.2 through Fixt. Anybody have the solution?

    23 de oct. de 2022 · I just got steam so I could play F 1/2 and when I opened fallout 1 I first changed the resolution settings. Then I exited and came back later and the game won't launch. It will show a loading screen for a second and then disappear. Troubleshooting: I deleted and reinstalled the game on steam and my local files. Didn't work.
