  2. Between the years 1980 and 1982, Depeche Mode performed some tracks live that have never been officially released. Until now, these tracks have only been available on bootlegs of dubious quality. Many fans will never understand why these tracks have never been released.

  4. Depeche Mode has always been a good band, they still are. The thing is that a lot of fans grew up in their most important period from 1984 to 1994 (the Some Great Reward to SoFaD era) and yes that's the era that Alan Wilder became hugely influential in the band.

  6. It is possible that Alan replied that the track is fake because he is unfamiliar with the track when referred to as "I Feel No Guilt", or he was embarrassed at the track and did not want it attributed to him.

  7. As Dave commented on the 101 DVD (recorded years after the movie was released), he only recently (late 1990s, after Alan's departure) realized that DM had a certain "sound" at the time, which he wasn't even aware of during Alan's tenure and DM's heyday.
