  3. The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is a two-year professional degree designed to provide you with the skills, expertise and networks to identify problems and create solutions. Through your coursework, you'll develop the critical thinking and analytical skills that form the foundation of effective decision-making.

  4. The University of Maryland School of Public Policy is one of 14 schools at the University of Maryland, College Park. The school is located inside the Capital Beltway.

  5. Public Policy, Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) Most MPP students take 4 courses per semester and finish the program in two years. Students may instead take 1-4 courses each semester and complete the degree in two-five years.

  6. The school currently offers a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, as well as minors in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Innovation, Sustainability Studies, Science, Technology, Ethics and Policy (STEP) and Public Leadership. Courses may be found under PLCY.
