James Timothy «Tim» Hardin (23 de diciembre de 1941 – 29 de diciembre de 1980) fue un músico y compositor estadounidense, parte fundamental de la cultura folk de Greenwich Village en los años 60. Participó en el Festival de Woodstock en 1969.
Early life and career. Hardin was born in Eugene, Oregon, to Hal Hardin and Molly, née Small, who both had musical training. His mother was an accomplished violinist who performed with the Portland Symphony Orchestra and his father, who worked at his wife's family's mill, had played bass in jazz bands. [4] [5]

Tim Hardin (Eugene, 23 december 1941 – Los Angeles, 29 december 1980) was een Amerikaanse folkzanger die vooral in de jaren zestig opviel door zijn optreden op het Woodstock-festival en zijn bijdragen in de fameuze folkscene van Greenwich Village.
