Sam Jaffe was an American actor, teacher, musician, and engineer who starred in films such as The Asphalt Jungle, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Ben-Hur. He was also a friend of John Huston, Zero Mostel, and Edward G. Robinson, and was blacklisted by Hollywood in the 1950s.
