Harlon T. Barnett (born January 2, 1967) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the defensive backs coach at Northwestern University. He was the interim head coach at Michigan State University for most of the 2023 season.
Former Spartan All-American Harlon Barnett, who coaches the secondary, is entering his 15th season overall on the Spartan defensive staff in 2023. He was named acting head coach by Vice President/Director of Athletics Alan Haller on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.
