In 1968, the group consisted of Pinkney, Gerhart Thrasher, Hollis, and Hendricks. Pinkney hired the Tears to perform as part of his group on a short tour. The Tears were Benny Andersson, George Wallace, Albert Fortson, and Mark Williams.
