Domenic Michele Antonio Troiano (January 17, 1946 – May 25, 2005) was a Canadian guitarist and songwriter, best known as a member of Mandala, Bush, James Gang, and The Guess Who. He also recorded music for film and television, often made guest appearances on other musicians' albums, and worked as a producer.
Biography. In the early 1970s, a music writer called Domenic Troiano "a musician's musician." The label acted as a double-edged sword for the Canadian guitarist. Troiano is undoubtedly a solid musician, utilizing a technical and intelligent guitar style throughout his career.
A true musician's musician, Domenic Troiano holds a list of accomplishments as diverse as the styles of music he played through his career. Born in Italy, he grew up in Canada and quickly developed a love of rock & roll.

Raised in Toronto, Troiano began playing guitar at 15. One of Canada's premier rock guitarists during the late 1960s and the 1970s, he began his career with Robbie Lane and the Disciples and with Ronnie Hawkins, and was a member 1964-69 of the popular Toronto R&B band known in turn as the Five Rogues, the Rogues, and, 1966-69, Mandala.
