Charles Wheatstone (Reino Unido: /tʃɑːlz ˈwiːtstən/; 1 Gloucester, 6 de febrero de 1802- París, 19 de octubre de 1875) fue un científico e inventor británico, que destacó durante la época victoriana, incluyendo el estereoscopio (aparato que creaba la ilusión de ver imágenes tridimensionales), la técnica Playfair de codificación, y el caleidófono.
