Cadwgan ap Bleddyn (1051–1111) was a prince of the Kingdom of Powys (Welsh: Teyrnas Powys) in north eastern Wales. He (possibly born 1060) was the second son of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn [2] who was king of both Kingdom of Powys and Gwynedd .
8 de sept. de 2022 · Cadwgan ap Bleddyn (1051–1111) was a prince of Powys in eastern Wales. Cadwgan was the second son of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn who was king of both Powys and Gwynedd. When Bleddyn was killed in 1075, Powys was divided between three of his sons, Cadwgan, Iorwerth and Maredudd.
Cadwgan ap Bleddyn was born in 1051, in Nannau Hall, Merionethshire, Wales as the son of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn. He married Ewron Verch Hoedlyw in 1075, in Wales. They were the parents of at least 7 sons. He registered for military service in 1088.

Our identification of Cadwgan is based on the single pedigree[11] which does not mistake him for Cadwgan ap Bleddyn ap Cynfyn. In it, he is made a descendant of Gwgan Gleddyfrudd of Tegeingl although the pedigree is deficient by several generations.
