In the Warriors universe, the characters in the five Clans (ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan) have names composed of two parts. Each cat's name has a prefix (Blue, Bramble, Tall, etc.) which generally stays constant throughout their life.
This is a list of main characters in the Warriors series who play a major role in the main arcs, Super Editions, Novellas, Field Guides, or Graphic novels. These are different from point of view characters, who may narrate a short section of a book but are not a main character.

The Mentor: An apprentice must be assigned a mentor by their leader, who will teach them the ways of being a warrior or a medicine cat. Star-Crossed Lovers: Falling in love with a cat outside one's Clan is against the warrior code, yet it still happens now and again.
