Edgar the Bug (or just The Bug) is a Bug alien and the main antagonist of the first Men in Black film. His appearance is that of a giant cockroach though while on earth, he adopts the disguise of a human farmer. He hates it when any bug is killed (especially cockroaches).

The Bug, also known as Edgar the Bug or simply Edgar, is the main antagonist of the 1997 sci-fi action comedy film Men in Black. He is an interstellar terrorist in search of the Arquillian Galaxy, and his actual appearance is that of a giant cockroach.
But since Men in Black is an adventure comedy, it does try to marginalize just how horrible the situation is by (a) making the scene almost Looney Tunes in its presentation and (b) making Edgar just a horrible person from the start.
