Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen ( Copenhague, 6 de mayo de 1964) es un actor danés. Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen ( Danish: [ˈlɑːs ˈme̝kl̩sn̩]; born 6 May 1964) is a Danish actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Grand Admiral Thrawn in various Star Wars media.
He and his older brother, actor Lars Mikkelsen, were raised in the Nørrebro district. [7] In his youth, he trained as a gymnast, wanting to pursue athletics, but then studied dancing at the Balettakademien (ballet academy) in Gothenburg where he also became fluent in Swedish. [8]
Originally it was planned that Lars and his brother Mads should play the brothers in the western The Salvation (2014). Shortly before filming began, Lars had to cancel due to private reasons. The role went to the Swedish actor Mikael Persbrandt.
