4 de jun. de 2020 · It’s a very beautiful and striking eternal resting place created to look like a forest while buildings often appeared like ancient Greek temples, but in an open field is a dominating image of a single cross raised high to the sky.
Points of contention are if Jesus's body was taken off the cross before sunset, or left on the cross to decay; if his body was taken off the cross and buried specifically by Joseph of Arimathea, or by the Sanhedrin or a group of Jews in general; and if he was entombed, and if so, what kind of tomb, or if he was buried in a common grave.

4 de dic. de 2014 · I grew up listening to Swedish death metal and always wondered where the Entombed band photo was taken so it was pretty special to actually go to this site. While visiting Skogskyrkogården I saw a couple of other metal-heads also wandering the grounds and taking photos of the cross.
