14 de nov. de 2016 · I was having issues getting the game to launch at all--I tried everything the official website says to: run Steam as administrator; run the game as administrator; shut down background processes; update windows.
If your PC (Steam) copy of Dishonored 2 is not launching after pressing Play, is stuck at the "Preparing to Launch" text box or is running in the background but not actually launching, you should first try restarting your computer and Steam and trying again.
14 de nov. de 2016 · I've verified integrity of game cache, I've ran in compatibility mode and with admin privileges but still nothing. When I click launch the game says "running" for about 10-15 seconds before it goes away. I see it pop up in the Task Manager as well for the time.
19 de dic. de 2023 · The game does not start after click play, even though I have searched for a solution, I started in administrator modes, cleared the cache and changed compatibility to Windows 8
The program can't start because libSceGpuAddress.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I finally decided to try it, I click play, the game says "launching" for 5-10 seconds and then nothing happens. I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong, D1 runs perfectly. I have both D1 and D2 installed on a secondary HDD i.e. not where I have my OS installed.
9 de may. de 2023 · c:\users\yourWIndowsLogin\Saved Games\Arkane Studios\Dishonored2\base. should have your savegame folder and your dishonored2config.cfg file. if running windows, check windows event viewer and also windows reliability history. might be a game crash event or system related problems.
