Babes in Toyland was an American alternative rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 1987. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Kat Bjelland , along with drummer Lori Barbero and bassist Michelle Leon, who was later replaced by Maureen Herman in 1992.

5 de ago. de 2023 · Babes in Toyland were one of the most distinctive bands of the time. Their music was harsh enough to attract metal fans, energetic enough to be considered punk, and as hard-hitting as any grunge band.

Babes In Toyland. American Rock / Grunge band, formed in 1987 in Minneapolis. Babes In Toyland split in 2001, but reunited more than a decade later in August 2014. In August 2015 Maureen Herman announced that she's no longer with the band. In 2020, Lori Barbero announced the band split once again.
