She was the sixth possible DLC character to be revealed in the Indiegogo campaign, at $120,000. While she failed to win the character voting (losing out to Eliza and Beowulf), she was announced for Skullgirls Mobile several years later on August 14, 2020 and Skullgirls 2nd Encore on January 31, 2021 after having been teased in February 10, 2020.
Annie is a high-damage midrange-rushdown character with a well-rounded set of tools for any situation. Strengths. Weaknesses. Small Hurtbox: Annie has a small hurtbox, allowing her to be quite evasive. She can also use certain moves such as 2LP to shrink her hurtbox even more.
Annie is a combo machine, with a wealth of tools available to keep her combos going longer than many characters would dare to dream. With a little help from her parasite Sagan she also has access to several long range tools that can pin opponents in place and let Annie get back into close range...
Annie strikes a pose and enters a powered up state. During Star Power, all her normals shoot out stars which allow for more combo opportunities. Additionally, Star Power gives her access to two Blockbusters which end the mode when used.
