Wings 3D has a comprehensive set of mesh modeling and selection tools. Standard tools such as Move, Scale, Rotate, Extrude, Bevel, Bridge, Cut, and Weld. Advanced tools including: Sweep, Plane Cut, Circularise, Intersect, Bend, Shear, and Inset. Magnets and Magnet Masking. Virtual Mirror for symmetrical modeling.
Con Wings 3D podremos conseguir asombrosos resultados gracias a sus múltiples herramientas que permiten al usuario modificar sector por sector sus creaciones, manipulando estructuras primitivas o modelando texturas.
Winds 3D es una herramienta especialmente diseñada para importar modelos y modificarlos mediante subdivisión poligonal, técnica que permite crear modelos muy bien definidos utilizando pocos polígonos. El programa en sí no incluye herramientas para crear sus propias primitivas.
