  3. The coat of arms of Warsaw consists of a syrenka ("little mermaid") in a red field. This imagery has been in use since at least the mid-14th century. The syrenka has traditionally held a silver sword although this does not appear on more recent versions.

  7. 10 de nov. de 2009 · Warsaw’s grand coat of arms features two laurel branches with the Silver Cross of the Order Virtuti Militari (Class V) hanging from them. The ribbon unfurling down from the crown to complete the coat of arms bears the motto SEMPER INVICTA (ALWAYS UNDEFEATED).
