Unsane is the debut album by Unsane, released in 1991 through Matador Records. It is the only studio album by the group to feature founding member Charlie Ondras, who died of a heroin overdose during the 1992 New Music Seminar in New York during the tour supporting the album.

Unsane released their seventh album Wreck on March 20, 2012, and toured with Melvins in April and May that year. Unsane released their eighth studio album Sterilize on September 29, 2017. In 2019, Spencer announced the formation of a new band, Human Impact, with ex-Swans members Phil Puleo and Chris Pravdica.

Noise rock trio of Chris Spencer ( The Cutthroats 9 ), Vincent Signorelli ( Swans) and Dave Curran ( The Cutthroats 9 & The J.J. Paradise Players Club ). The original lineup consisted of Spencer, Pete Shore and drummer Charlie Ondras, who passed away from a drug overdose in 1992.
