Short Answer - She’s cute and kind. Long Answer - Her death traumatized me for years, and the aftermath with Levi and her Father made it even worse for me. I couldn’t rewatch her scenes if you paid me to do it. I eventually got over it, and realized Petra is my favorite character.
Petra Ral (ペトラ・ラル) Petra is a veteran member of the Scouting Legion, and is one of the hand-chosen members of the elite Special Operations Squad under Lance Corporal Levi. She looks up to Levi as a captain and cares strongly for her team, though notably at odds with Auruo.
It was her who first convinced Eren to trust Levi squad, convinced Eren to not attack the Female Titan and capture her, and her body's the only one shown during Eren's fight with Annie. She is the only body Levi stops at on his way to Eren.
