The film follows Patrizia Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), as their romance transforms into a fight for control of the Italian fashion brand Gucci. Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino also star.

And, even though the actors were depicting real people, the hair and makeup team faced the challenge of a lack of source material.
