And also can form the superlative either by adding -est suffix or most. Example words. * Heavy heavier/more heavy heaviest/the most heavy. * Peaceful peacefuler/more peaceful peacefulest/the most peaceful.

  3. 12 de nov. de 2021 · My observation would be that we (in the US, at least) in fact use "heavier" to modify a verb fairly often, but that we tend to do so in informal situations (spontaneous conversation), where grammatical rules are generally looser. In writing I might well disapprove of using "heavier" that way, and I might well find "more heavily" completely natural.

The strong person to whom you say this will not be happy. If the strength is clear from the person's appearance, you might say, "You look really strong".
