Go to wherever your DP is installed, ie your steamapps/common/Deadly Premonition now find and double click on the 'redist' folder, scroll down to the bottom and double click 'PhysX_SystemSoftware' and run the REPAIR option. Sorry to bring up old post, but this has helped me to start the game finally. No problem :)

I tried disabling addons and stuff, but it still keeps crashing right after that cutscene. Is anyone else having the same problem? 9 de ene. de 2023 · EMULATION. One of the best ways to play Deadly Premonition without a doubt. Better visuals, consistent framerates, no crashes (in my experience), and it can be played from the comfort of your computer. I personally prefer this method over the PC port, DC PS3, and Switch. 28 de ago. de 2015 · I was finally able to beat the game on PC. I installed DPfix and ran DP launcher on Windows XP SP3 in compatibility mode. To bypass the aim bug: press Space to draw the weapon and press Left Ctrl one time to activate autoaim in order to unlock the complete aim range (moving the mouse).
