He was the perfect character for Luffy to realize his position at that given moment, Luffy cant lose a nakama at that point (I think theres a chance we lose one towards the end game), but at the same time any other character's death wouldnt have had the same impact Ace's had, it was just really well done ...

29 de dic. de 2023 · Might be able to run in B/Y luffy as well to force yourself down to 0 life. So many good big mom cards let you take a life on purpose making it essentially another draw. Adding Pudding and maybe 10 cost Kaido could be a solid end game as well. Just realized that Monkey.D.Luffy promo P-036 could work too.

But again, that love and respect was way too destructive for him and he was a fool for falling for a simple trick and not learning from his defeat from Blackbeard. My main problem with Ace is he didn’t seem to have the strength to back up his talk.
