Malcolm in the Middle follows a dysfunctional family in an anonymous location. The family is headed by super-stressed supermom Lois, and eccentric child-at-heart Hal. The eldest son, Francis, once a wild youth, now lives on a ranch with his wife, Piama. Next in line is dimwitted ne'r-do-well Reece.
Malcolm, the middle son, presents the eldest, Francis, as his hero, but he's really an incorrigible rebel, who had to be sent to military school. Younger brothers Reese, Dewey and Jamie are mean and play the fools, so by contrast Malcolm is a genius surrounded and domineered by zombie-relatives.
In an attempt to avoid the worst moments of medieval week at his Krelboyne class, Malcolm spins a delicate web of deception for the school therapist. Francis takes over the laundry at the academy and Hal discovers that his youngest, Dewey, is a natural at skittles. 7.6/10 (1K) Rate. Watch options.
Francis organizes a hunger strike to get back the academy's TV, taken away by Commandant Spangler. Meanwhile Malcolm has to go to the hospital, leaving him in the children's ward and the family without their genius middle son.
