Henry Taylor Lamb MC RA (21 June 1883 – 8 October 1960) was an Australian-born British painter. A follower of Augustus John, Lamb was a founder member of the Camden Town Group in 1911 and of the London Group in 1913.
Henry Lamb (1883-1960) was an Australian-born painter who studied in London and Paris and became a member of the Camden Town and London Groups. He also served as a war artist and a trustee of the National Portrait Gallery, where his portraits and self-portraits are displayed.

In the First World War, Henry Lamb served as a military surgeon in France, Palestine and Macedonia. Following Lamb’s demobilisation in 1919, he found himself increasingly drawn to the English countryside. In the 1920s and ‘30s, Lamb established himself as an accomplished portrait-painter.
