In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end.
25 de ene. de 2024 · Dominion Expansions Ranked. In anticipation of the upcoming Rising Sun expansion, I wanted to give my ranking of the current Dominion expansions. With expansions, we're looking for new, innovative, seamless features that don't drastically depart from the base game's flow. They make the base game more exciting without making a whole different game.
Your ceremonial sword and armor are made of paper. The samurai never let you into their tea parties, and the ninjas are always tying your shoelaces together. And the epic poem they wrote about you is only 17 syllables long. Rice has been adopted as currency, and no-one seems to even be trying to get your face onto the grains.
It's great for everyone. And with this treaty out of the way, you can get to work on your other neighbors. Soon, all the allies will be yours. Dominion: Allies, the 14th expansion in the Dominion series, contains 400 cards, with 31 new Kingdom card piles that contain allies who will do favors for you and split piles that you can rotate.
Dominion (Second Edition) replaces six Kingdom card types from the first edition with six new types of Kingdom cards, while also replacing the blank cards in the game with a seventh new Kingdom card. These new cards are available on their own in the Dominion: Update Pack.

Dominion: Intrigue adds rules for playing with up to 8 players at two tables or for playing a single game with up to 6 players when combined with Dominion. This game adds 25 new Kingdom cards and a complete set of Treasure and Victory cards. The game can be played alone by players experienced in Dominion or with the basic game of Dominion.

See the description in the post for version 1.0 below. Version 11 incorporates the latest Dominion expansion, Rising Sun. There is also a rules change about paying off Debt, and the card Scepter has been changed.
21 de feb. de 2011 · A game of Dominion does not start when the first player takes his turn. It starts when 10 Kingdom Cards have been (randomly) selected. This is in fact the most critical part of the game since this is the time you have to decide on your general strategy. Sometimes, your strategy is clear, sometimes you just have to try and see what works.
23 de dic. de 2019 · This sounded quite sketchy to me, and only further made me regret putting my belief in the name “sleeve dominion”, when they only adequately sleeved my dominion cards. But I struggled on with these sleeves for many more years, as I simply could not imagine affording or having the space to store cards sleeved with any brand of “premium” sleeve, which was really the only other option.
