27 de may. de 2024 · For the record Garry rode 740 winners in NZ. His first win was on the 23/4/55 at Te Aroha on Sweet Wren trained by his boss Wally Townsend. He named his immaculate farm on St Kilda Road Sweet Wren Lodge after her. His best season was 1965-66 when he rode 53 winners finishing 4= on the Jockeys Premiership.

BC helped me get the Video on course video contract at Counties, along with Haubie and Sir Brian Mollett and that awful bloke Sir Kim Clotworthy.

18 de nov. de 2022 · Chris Wood yes Peter had a share in Power Chief. He won three races at two when trained by Jim Gibbs including the 1988 Sires Produce Stakes at Ellerslie ridden by Peter Tims. Later Jim Pender won the 1992 Japan- NZ Trophy with him at Tauranga ridden by David Peake.
