Iyanis Wallace (Central-Hayneville) also set a school record by compiling 7 total touchdowns in a single game (5 rushing, 1 passing, 1 receiving).

Today, Central High School is one of two high schools in Lowndes County, Alabama, the heart of the Black Belt. Students may choose to purse an advanced, standard, or occupational diploma that can include a career technical endorsement, Students may also elect or pursue dual enrollment credit through Wallace Community College.
