The story revolves around a villager called Pharsua, who is the first to enrol for Aadhaar card in his village but due to a premonition concerning his wife's health by the village priest sets on an uphill task of getting his number changed.
The film revolves around Pharsua, a resident of the village of Jamua, and his aadhaar (resident identification) card ID, issued by the Indian government.
Aadhar is a story revolving around Janaki Deshmukh, a young honest and responsible girl who is doing job to support her family. She lives with her father, mother, two brothers and a sister. One of her brother, Bandu is mentally challenged.
A group of people from government arrives to promote the new identification cards. Parsua becomes the first who has the card that everyone is reluctant to have, and becomes a star. One day, Parsua receives a divination sign that his wife will die due to the serial number.
