Realtor workaholic Jim Evers and his wife and business partner Sara gets a call late one night from mansion owner Edward Gracey, who is looking to sell his property. Smelling the biggest deal of their career, Jim, Sara and their two children pay a visit to the mansion, located on a remote bayou.
The Haunted Mansion is a 2003 American supernatural horror comedy film directed by Rob Minkoff and written by David Berenbaum. Loosely based on Walt Disney's theme park attraction of the same name, the film stars Eddie Murphy as a realtor who, along with his family, becomes trapped in the titular building.

The façade of the 19th-century mansion was constructed in Sable Ranch, along with the graveyard, whose above-ground graves due to Louisiana’s paludal landscape clearly establish the movie's New Orleans setting.
17 de ago. de 2023 · The first traces of the Haunted Mansion’s existence actually predate Disneyland, as a “Haunted House” was included in the early plans for “Mickey Mouse Park” — the earlier concept for a fun park that was supposed to be built across from the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank.

Tulane University is a private university that was founded in 1834, with a historic campus in Uptown New Orleans.
