The Dunes Caves are found within along with a Cuddlefish egg, located right in the center of the sinkhole. This biome also harbours a large crater from a meteor impact, which can be found close to the border with the Northern Blood Kelp Zone.

Tips. Explore wrecks thoroughly so you don't have to come back here. Use sonar sparingly, it costs power. The very northernmost part of the dunes has a pretty decent reaper free area. There's a cuddlefish egg in the sinkhole. Warnings. Be careful around reaper leviathans (duh), even with a stasis rifle.

The Dunes Caves are found inside the Giant Sinkhole around the thermal vents in the Dunes biome. The Dunes Caves feature Fauna such as Rockgrubs or Cave Crawlers, also inhabitants of the Dunes. Only three of these caves exist.
