The Moonfish are a school of fish who appear in the 2003 Disney•Pixar animated feature film Finding Nemo. They first appear when Marlin tries to chase them for directions, but they swim away. After a conversation between Marlin and Dory, the Moonfish unexpectedly appear.

Nemo is placed in a fish tank in the office of dentist Philip Sherman in Sydney. He meets the "Tank Gang", led by Gill, a scarred Moorish idol. Sherman plans to give Nemo to his niece, Darla, who killed her previous pet fish.
Marlin and Nemo are thrilled to see each other, but Dory is suddenly caught in a fisherman's net with a school of grouper. Nemo is able to use the skills he obtained from his time in the tank to save Dory by telling all the fish in the net to swim down.
