The Hippie's battle theme is inspired by Chuck Berry 's song Johnny B. Goode. A remixed version of the battle theme can be heard in EarthBound in fights against New Age Retro Hippies and Frank Fly, and can again be heard in the Mother 3 versions of the song called Rock and Roll (Mild) and Rock and Roll (Spicy).

Mother 3 (Japanese: マザースリー Mother 3) is the third and final installment in the Mother series. It was developed by HAL Laboratory, Inc., Nintendo, and Brownie Brown and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance on April 20, 2006. It has currently been released only in Japan.
This is a list of characters in Mother 3. Lucas (リュカ Ryuka) is the main protagonist and a timid young boy who eventually learns PSI powers. Lucas is the son of Flint and Hinawa, and the younger twin brother of Claus. He lives in Tazmily Village with his family and dog Boney.
Mother 3 is set in the fictional Nowhere Islands, an unknown length of time after the events of Mother 2. The game begins with twins Lucas and Claus and their mother Hinawa preparing to return home to Tazmily Village after visiting Hinawa's father, who lives in the northern reaches of the Islands.
