He does often play double stops, but usually has the open E or A ringing out underneath as a drone to fill out the sound. I love his style, utterly unique and a devastating tone.

15 de jun. de 2023 · The sight of Lemmy Kilmister pounding away at his Rickenbacker bass guitar, head back and growling into that impossibly high mic, with a wall of Marshall stacks behind him is one of the most iconic images in British metal.
Besides many things, he was known for his unmistakable bass playing style, in which he used his Rickenbacker bass to create an “overpowered, distorted rhythmic rumble”.
In one of Lemmy's last interviews, he can be seen with a 4003 Rickenbacker in an Autumnglo (Sunburst) Finish. In this interview he also explains playing-style and other things that contribute to his sound.
