In this movie, both locomotives painted in NIS livery, but were lettered as "Grand Continental". So to speak, cars paint sceme was based on Nevada Industrial Switch. The following year No. 1804 returned to the screen still sporting its NIS livery, but with the "Grand Continental" name removed, in "Lethal Weapon 4".

Under Seige 2: Dark Territory was filmed on the Southern Pacific, former Denver & Rio Grande Western RR. The 9-car train had Grand Continental lounge car 4036, Grand Vue II as it highballed west at Leyden Siding, Arvada, CO, on Dec. 15, 1994.
30 de sept. de 2023 · The Grand Continental is a fictional passenger railway from the film "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" (1995). The double-deck cars used in the film are Southern Pacific Railroad Pullman Standard Gallery cars modified by Colorado Railcar to resemble Amtrak's Superliner cars.
Has anyone ever seen the movie "Under Siege 2"? If not, I wouldn't recommend that you see it. But, in the fictious "Grand Continental" train from Denver to LA, what is the heritage of the passenger cars?
