The zombies never felt like a serious threat. It was up to your imagination to go the extra mile. They were slow, stupid, and most of the time, don't even try to bite you even if they grabbed you. I could could up to 10 or 15 times where the zombies could have successfully bit a protagonist but didn't.
6 de ago. de 2018 · Dawn of the Dead 2004 was always one of my favorite zombie movies. I don't know what it is, but they really hit the nail on the head with getting the feeling of society falling apart. It reminds me of the first season of Walking Dead. I think it was implied that they all died at the end. The island was over run and they were on the dock.

Recently re-watched Dawn of the Dead (2004) - Definitely one of the best horror movies of the decade. Before Zach Snyder became Zach Snyder, and before zombies became a shitty, rehashed "cultural phenomenon" over the last ~8 years, this movie rocked the house. I still think 28 Days Later takes the crown for the best modern 'apocalypse' film ...
2 de sept. de 1978 · 1978年，恐怖电影《 活死人黎明 | Dawn of the Dead 》 比较早的丧尸电影了，当然也只能当考古看看了。 虽然不用较真特效和化妆，虽然剧情还算饱满，但是这个故事是在是太屎了。。人物的智商堪比傻子一样。。唉 好糟糕。

Was just pondering this, and would love to hear from fans what you think might have happened to Peter and Francine after leaving the mall at the end of Dawn of the Dead (1978) ? If you will recall, the helicopter was basically running on fumes, Peter was on the verge of suicide, and Fran was around 8 months pregnant.
12 de ene. de 2024 · Much like the first film and the follow up to this, Day of the Dead (‘85), the acting by anyone but the main cast is amateurish, but understandable as they used locals when filming and it adds to the rough and ready charm of the film. I watched the extended Cannes cut which has additional dialogue and some gore.
9 de sept. de 2023 · I’m a huge fan of the original Living Dead movies. I know Dawn of the Dead has multiple alternate cuts and that there’s also an uncut version that has never seen official release. It’s the closest version to the original screenplay. The original 155 minute cut of the film, The Extended Mall Hours Cut, can only be found on fan sites.
