The Custodians of the Adeptus Custodes' black-armoured Shadowkeepers Shield Host carrying out their duties deep beneath the Imperial Palace in the Imperial Dungeons during the Era Indomitus; they guard the Emperor's secrets as well as His person.
My recommendation is to vary your custodian guard squad (unless they have already been built) so that you take 1 shield and 3 spears because the shield is to soak up damage from all ap weapons, but the spear is better than the sword.
The Shadowkeepers are a Shield Host of the Adeptus Custodes which includes many Custodian Wardens and is tasked with guarding the last terrors of Old Night that dwell in the Dark Cells beneath the Imperial Palace.

These fighting styles can be adopted in unison by entire Shield Hosts, and each has a preferred Ka'tah they use in battle.
