10 de ene. de 2024 · The vast, overwhelming majority of these little pocket pistols (Colt 1908, Raven, Davis, Ortgies, etc.) are simple blowback operation, including your Sterling. The Seecamp has a chamber-ring delayed blowback. Similar, but a bit more complicated to produce and easier on the frame and slide. Here's a good discussion.

3 de ago. de 2024 · So the only parts they've changed are the slide, recoil spring and barrel. I might be interested in the upper Gen 2 kit, if and when Taurus sells it, but don't see the need to run out and buy the whole thing right now, since I already have the First Gen, however, if I didn't have a TX22 at all, I would opt for the Gen 2. Good info / perspectives.

I've NOT had a single problem with it. The gun shot flawlessly, in either round.
11 de ene. de 2012 · The second strike capability is suposed to work in the event of a round not being set off by the firing pin, you can squeeze again to fire the round. when i squeeze again nothing happens. It sounds as though something has failed. Prepare to send it back. As for the "if it won't fire once, it won't fire twice" idea.

With the 94 I did dry fire 500-1000 times with snap caps. I did about the same thing with the 941. With the 941 empty .22WRM cases would need to be used.

If you're thinking new and money is a consideration, go with the blue and buy some ammunition with the money you saved. If you're not worried about money and you like the looks of the stainless, go stainless. You can't go wrong with either one. Taurus makes them both ways hoping to satisfy the needs and wants of potential customers.
