Pegasus was a Mercury-class battlestar,[3] and one of the most advanced military ships in the Colonial Fleet. Along with Galactica, Pegasus was one of only two Colonial capital ships to survive the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, serving under the command of Rear Admiral Helena Cain.
"Pegasus" is the tenth episode of the second season of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica television series. It aired originally on the Sci Fi Channel on September 23, 2005. Following "Pegasus", the series went on hiatus until January 2006.

30 de abr. de 2017 · Pegasus encounters Galactica in "The Living Legend". At that time, two of Cain's key Viper pilots are Lieutenant Bojay and his daughter, Lieutenant Sheba . The two battlestars meet and conduct a fierce assault against the Cylons .
22 de feb. de 2024 · Pegasus jumps into the fight and finds Galactica under fire from four Cylon basestars. Pegasus destroys one of the baseships with its forward batteries and attracts the attention of the others while Galactica repairs its FTL drive and prepares to jump away.
Pegasus was a Battlestar attached to the Fifth Fleet. It was believed destroyed in a battle several years prior to the Battle of Cimtar, but had escaped thanks to the brilliance of its Commander, Cain.
