However, Anakin is not like the other Jedi in that he knew what it was like to have a family. He had a natural inclination to favoritism.
15 de dic. de 2020 · IMHO no, Vader does not deserve forgiveness. He is basically the Jamie Lannister of STAR WARS, except his good dead was arguably less noble than Jamie's was. Jesus did not reject his destiny, whether when he was tempted by Satan before he started his ministry or in Gethsemane when he confessed his fears and doubts. Anakin gives into his fears and doubts. Since all the Jedi have randomly colored ships, it could just be that Anakin's callsign was based on the color of the lead fighter-- Obi-Wan. OOU of course it's a clumsy OT tie-in, which begs the question of who exactly Red 2-4 were.
12 de ago. de 2002 · May 11, 2005. Anakin is a classical tragic hero in ROTS, but if this would be a normal classical tragedy he would die in Mustafar. Redemptions are not usual in Greek or Shakespearean tragedies. The heroes come to understand their madness when they are dying, but all is done and nothing can be changed at that point.

Revamped trilogy: ESB, "I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker." I kinda preferred having it in ROTJ, but it's not a big deal. Was it customary for some Jedi to carry extra lightsabers on them, or did these two Jedi come prepared with spare lightsabers ...
