A League of Their Own is a 1992 American sports comedy drama film directed by Penny Marshall that tells a fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL).
As America's stock of athletic young men is depleted during World War II, a professional all-female baseball league springs up in the Midwest, funded by publicity-hungry candy maker Walter Harvey. Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson and Kit Keller spar with each other, scout Ernie Capadino and grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan on their way to fame.

11 de ago. de 2022 · As pointed out on the AAGPBL Facebook page, the uniforms used in the 2022 A League of Their Own series on Amazon Prime are more accurate, including the logo and the darker buttons. The Rockford Peaches tunics in the series were modeled after the uniforms worn during the 1945-46 season.
