Education and research at the Faculty of Law are designed to prepare talented people for society by cultivating within them broad viewpoints, fundamental legal thinking skills and basic political insight.
The School of Law provides professional degree program with the purpose of producing highly-skilled and principled lawyers with a strong ethical sense of responsibility and with the intention to contribute to the state and to society, and who can play an active role in advanced international fields.
Education and research at the Faculty of Law are designed to further prepare talented people with broad viewpoints, fundamental legal thinking skills and basic political insight.
The School of Law is one of the two graduate programs at the Graduate Schools of Law and politics and offers a Juris Doctor degree. The purpose of the program is to produce highly-skilled and principled lawyers.
School of Law. The School of Law is designed for those who intend to become jurists (lawyers, judges, public prosecutors). After completing the course, students are entitled to take the bar examination. (1) Documents Required. Applications to the School of Law are available from July.

As with other undergraduate programs at the University of Tokyo, students move from the College of Arts and Sciences to the faculties of Advanced Studies.
