Fue nombrada como "Gran Spinel" (reemplazando a Diamante Rosa) por las demás diamantes, así que ahora tiene muchas responsabilidades en las cuales pensar y eso la ha presionado poco a poco, creándole irritabilidad y molestia.
Spinel is a Gem created for Pink Diamond as a playmate, but abandoned for thousands of years. She is the main antagonist of Steven Universe: The Movie and a reformed ally of the Crystal Gems.
