18 de ago. de 2016 · Yer Metal is Olde: Cryptopsy – None So Vile. The life of a metal drummer is one of near saintly asceticism. Your kit is about ten times heavier – and more expensive – than the six-strings that your guitarists snapped up off of craigslist.
None So Vile has a specific message to convey, and it conveys it instantly and it stays there until you've accepted its message or aural statement through sheer exhaustion. To that end, there are, in my opinion, only really three stand-out tracks on this album.
It's the beginning of one of death metal's most brutal and legendary albums, Cryptopsy's "None So Vile". This Canadian brutal death metal quartet released, in 1996, one of the finest and most defining releases of their genre, one that would be hailed and praised for the years to come.
26 de mar. de 2019 · None So Vile is simply put, a landmark death metal album that deserves its place amongst the elite. Tracks such as Slit Your Guts, Benedictine Convulsions and the infamously jaw dropping Phobophile display a more than capable bunch of freaks at the top of their game.
