BART launched the mascots at FanimeCon 2023, the largest anime convention in the Bay Area. We gave out exclusive mascot charms and educated people about how to take BART and VTA to travel to South Bay. We also promoted our youth discount.

Driving the news: The mascots are inspired by BART frontline employees and BART-contracted animals — like the goats that graze BART property, according to a press release from the transit agency.
